The “3D Visualization” Process

Hi, In this blog we would like to talk a little bit about the process of 3D Visualization & walk you through all the aspects of 3D Visualization. We hope this article would be useful for upcoming students and for Industry professionals as well. Brief on 3D Visualization :

3D Visualization is also known as 3D Rendering or CGI (computer-generated Imagery) is a process by which graphical content is created using 3D software. This technology has become very popular over the last few years and has evolved as one of the most popular solutions for producing high-quality Digital Images  Visualization is used not only for engineering and architectural purposes but also for commercial ones.

3D Visualization is also an art unlike photography, It requires both artistic and technical knowledge. It is mainly used for visualizing content that has not been built in the real world before. But by using software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, and Maya, we can pre-visualize or create stunning life-like visualizations even before it will be built in real life. It needs to visualize the designs that have been around.3D visualization gives the viewer the ability to easily understand their building complexity without knowing how to read the drawings.

The process of Visualization:

3D Visualization is the process by which graphical content is created using 3D Software and thus allowing humans to recognize structures and behavior.

The first thing we need to understand is the concept of the scene on which we want to work on. Once the concept of the model is clear then the visualizer will draft the model and build the library in the 3D editor as it will be easier to work on 3D software. After completing the model, we need to focus on other aspects of the 3D scene. After the models and scenes are created, we can proceed to create shaders and materials for them. Lighting & texturing is a most important part of this process while making the scenes photorealistic. After completing all this we need to check the moods of the environment, adjusting different lighting conditions according to our taste. If we want to add artificial light we can go ahead with that. Now, we come down to choosing the angle in the scene that would showcase the direction in the final image of visualization. Last and the foremost part left is the rendering in which the few details whatever is left over will cover everything. We put the finishing touches to the winning version by calibrating the colors, adjusting contrasts, tweaking the colors of our models so it accurately depicts the real-life one, etc. Now, our models are finished and the final image generated is of the highest possible quality.

A large percentage of the products marketed on websites and television today are created with 3D visualization. This number has been growing steadily over recent years primarily because of advancements in rendering technologies such as Chaos Group’s, VRay, and Luxion’s Keyshot. These enhancements have made it possible for 3D artists to quickly create photorealistic renderings that match the quality of standard photography without the hassle of organizing complicated and expensive photo shoots. 3D visualization allows for the creation of content with full control over every aspect of the image right down to the reflections or surface of a material. The technology helps create visuals that may either be impossible to create or too costly to create with photography. We saw an unprecedented increase in both the volume of work and the sheer number of people entering the industry. The bottom line is that there will always be a requirement for visualization and our industry will fare just fine.3D visualizations enhance marketing by giving an eye-catching view of the project in multiple forms of media, including websites. There’s nothing wrong with holding on to the old ways but if there’s a better, much more productive alternative, it’s only but practical to employ it. 3D visualization is the future of architectural design.

Over the last few years, our company has also been trying to develop such finesse in our renderings. You can check out our work in the portfolio section. We are a group of multidisciplinary 3D Visualization artists who work in the field of visualization. We produce visualizations mainly for Products, Architecture, and Automotive. We have been working in this field for more than 5 years and we are contributing to making the 3D visualization more life-like and helping make this world a beautiful place.

We hope you like this short description of our Industry.

Thank you.
